Over View
Mt. Kenya region also previously known as Central province is a huge area north of Nairobi. It is the home of Mt. Kenya, a snow peaked mountain near the equator and also where our great country got its name. The climate is generally cooler due to the regions high altitude and it's Kenya's food basket as it has a rich fertile soil.
